Ammon Taylor is is a pianist, composer, and musical director with a background in both classical and jazz music. He teaches choir and musical theatre at McCallum High School. Ammon is actively involved in Austin's improvised theatre community, and teaches musical improvisation classes with the Hideout Theatre and Merlin Works Institute at ZACH Theatre. He was recently the pianist and composer for Puppet Improv Project's educational musical,TRASH, and ZACH's production of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. He was the musical director for ZACH's 2013 student revue, Too Darn Fosse, and served as the musical director for ZACH's Pre-Professional Company for two seasons. He has been the musical director for summer and winter camps at the Salvage Vanguard, Paramount, and ZACH theaters in 2012 and 2013.
